Enviro News Asia, Jakarta – Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) is administering the 2025 Computer-Based Written Examination for the National Selection Based on Tests (UTBK-SNBT). This year, UPNVJ has been entrusted as one of the UTBK centers, with a total of 22,621 participants scheduled to take the exam during the implementation period. Each day, around 2,040 participants are taking the test at two main locations: the Pondok Labu Campus and the Limo Campus.
By 5:00 AM WIB, participants had already begun arriving. Some parents were also seen accompanying their children and waiting in the designated drop zone.
On this occasion, UPNVJ Rector, Prof. Anter Venus, accompanied by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Henry Binsar Hamonangan Sitorus, delivered initial instructions to the UTBK-SNBT UPNVJ committee and supervisors in the Nusantara 1 Meeting Room, Rectorate Building, on Wednesday (April 23, 2025).

In his official statement, Rector Anter Venus said that this activity is an important event that should be regarded as a shared responsibility and an opportunity to provide the best service.
“Administering the UTBK is not just an administrative task, but a noble duty. At UPNVJ, we are honored to be part of this important process for the future of students across Indonesia, and it is a noble mandate for us. Every aspect of this activity is carried out professionally by following all applicable procedures and providing the best service we can,” Venus explained.
Echoing the Rector’s sentiments, Henry Binsar Hamonangan Sitorus added that this activity reflects the trust placed in them by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, and therefore must be carried out to the highest standards in accordance with all regulations.
“We’re grateful that we are still entrusted as a UTBK-SNBT center this year. All of us bear responsibility for this activity. Follow all the rules, and make sure the exam is free of any dishonesty,” Henry emphasized.
During the process, participants enter the exam location after a temperature check by the health team, followed by a document verification by the verification team. Once verified, participants proceed to the waiting area until they are allowed to enter the exam room, where an additional screening is conducted using a metal detector.
In addition to technical readiness, the organizing committee has also prepared health services, information assistance, and integrated security to ensure that participants feel safe and comfortable throughout the examination process.
