Enviro News Asia, Ankara – Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı has announced that 315.7 million lira in grant payments were disbursed to rural producers in June under the IPARD-III Program, as part of efforts to strengthen entrepreneurship and accelerate local development.
“To add strength to the power of our entrepreneurs and accelerate local development, we transferred 315.7 million lira in grant payments into accounts in June under the IPARD-III Program. We always stand by all our producers who care for their land, produce, and add value to our country,” Yumaklı said.
Under the program, 176 million 55 thousand lira was allocated for investments in physical assets of agricultural enterprises, 102 million 603 thousand lira for farm activity diversification and business development, 21 million 693 thousand lira for investments in physical assets related to the processing and marketing of agricultural and fishery products, and 15 million 363 thousand lira for the implementation of the LEADER approach and local development strategies.
