Faculty of Computer Science UPNVJ Holds Research Exhibition, Students and Lecturers Showcase Technological Innovations

Enviro News Asia, Jakarta – The Faculty of Computer Science (FIK) at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) continues to foster academic innovation and creativity by organizing the Research Exhibition for Lecturers and Students. The event took place on Monday, February 17, 2025, at the Ki Hajar Dewantara Building, Faculty of Computer Science, UPN Veteran Jakarta.

The exhibition was attended by invited guests, lecturers, and academic staff of FIK UPNVJ. In its press release, UPNVJ stated that the event serves as a platform for students and lecturers to showcase their research findings and innovative projects in the fields of information technology, the Internet of Things (IoT), as well as Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Robotics.

Students who opted for project-based final assignments also participated in the exhibition, presenting various systems and applications they had developed. Each participant was provided with a laptop and a poster as presentation media to help visitors understand the concepts and benefits of the showcased projects. Some of these projects have even successfully created technology-based solutions that can be implemented within FIK and UPNVJ as a whole.

In addition to student innovations, lecturer research groups also presented their latest studies. Two main fields highlighted in the exhibition were the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Robotics. Various IoT- and AI-based tools and technologies developed by FIK UPNVJ researchers were exhibited to provide participants with broader insights into future technological advancements. It is hoped that these research results will make a tangible contribution to academia and the technology industry in Indonesia.

Dean of FIK UPNVJ, Prof. Dr. Ir. Supriyanto, stated that the exhibition not only serves as a form of appreciation for the works of students and lecturers but also as an initial step in building a stronger innovation ecosystem within the faculty. Through this event, students are expected not only to be technology users but also to create digital solutions that have a positive impact on society. Additionally, the exhibition provides an opportunity for students to receive feedback from lecturers and industry experts attending the event.

By organizing this event, the Faculty of Computer Science UPNVJ reaffirms its commitment to producing graduates who not only possess strong academic understanding but also have the skills to develop innovative technology-based solutions. Moving forward, FIK UPNVJ plans to continue expanding its research and innovation ecosystem by hosting more similar events and collaborating with industries to support the advancement of more applicable and cutting-edge technology.
