Minister of Trade Sets Export Benchmark Prices (HPE) for Wood Products in March 2025

Enviro News Asia, Jakarta – The Minister of Trade has signed Minister of Trade Decree (Kepmendag) No. 219 of 2025 on Export Benchmark Prices (HPE) and Reference Prices for Agricultural and Forestry Products Subject to Export Duties.

According to the decree, there is an increase in the HPE for several types of wood. “The HPE for wood products has risen for certain types of wood, including veneer from natural forests, wood in chips or particles, chipwood, processed wood with a cross-sectional area of 1,000–4,000 mm² from mixed tropical hardwood, other assortments from teak, and plantation forest wood from species such as pine, gmelina, acacia, sengon, balsa, and eucalyptus,” according to a press release from the Ministry of Trade on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
