Enviro News Asia, Jakarta – PLN Nusa Daya has inaugurated a state-of-the-art mobile reserve margin that is environmentally friendly and fuel-efficient. This 10 MW electrical system is prioritized for areas requiring urgent electricity supply, including remote, outermost, and underdeveloped regions (3T) in Indonesia.
PLN Nusa Daya’s President Director, Feby Joko Priharto, stated that the device is designed to be flexible, easy to relocate, and capable of maintaining electrical system stability in a specific area. “This electrical system can be easily transferred to areas with limited access to electricity or rising power demands,” Feby said in a press release on Friday (27/12).
Director of Generation Management at PT PLN (Persero), Adi Lumakso, emphasized that this mobile reserve margin is a concrete demonstration of PLN’s commitment to providing responsive and sustainable solutions. “We strive to be flexible, reliable, and adaptive to the needs of the community,” he said.
Through this strategic step, PLN Nusa Daya not only meets electricity needs but also strengthens its position as a pioneer of innovative and sustainable electricity solutions in Indonesia. The inauguration also underscores the synergy between the government, regulators, the community, and the business sector in addressing power sufficiency challenges in 3T areas and islands.
It is hoped that the presence of this mobile reserve margin will significantly impact communities, support national economic growth, and enhance energy equity across the nation.
