Enviro News Asia, Dong Nai — Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) and the Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF) held a research dissemination and partnership exploration event at the VNUF campus in Dong Nai Province on Wednesday, August 27. The meeting served as a follow-up to academic cooperation discussions that focus on environmental and natural resource management.
During the event, the UPNVJ delegation presented findings from their research on Mandalika, Indonesia, a strategic area for national tourism development. The researchers detailed their methodology, including the identification of key issues facing the community and environment, the research methods used for data collection, and the sample size and distribution.
The UPNVJ representatives stated that the results from the Mandalika study could serve as a model for comprehensive research that could be developed through future international collaboration.
The discussion was interactive and saw active participation from VNUF’s academic community, particularly those specializing in environmental sustainability and local development.
VNUF officials expressed enthusiasm for further research cooperation on topics relevant to ecological sustainability and the management of tourist areas.
