UPNVJ Rector Ensures Student Facilities are in Good and Comfortable Condition

Enviro News Asia, Jakarta – Rector of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ), Prof. Anter Venus, inspected several student welfare facilities at the Pondok Labu Campus, South Jakarta, on Friday, August 8, 2025.

Accompanied by Acting Head of the Planning, General Affairs, and Finance Bureau, Ahmad Ahsin Thohari, the rector visited various facilities, including the basketball court, sports equipment, and the campus library.

The visit aimed to ensure that campus facilities are in good condition, comfortable, and optimally accessible for students. In his remarks, Venus emphasized that student welfare is a top priority for the university leadership.

“We want to provide the best facilities, not only for academic needs but also for non-academic aspects such as student welfare,” he stated in an official release from UPNVJ’s Public Relations Office.

In addition to inspecting sports facilities and the library, the rector also checked food and beverage vending machines installed at several strategic points on campus.

Anter Venus personally tested the barcode scanning technology on the vending machines to purchase a drink, ensuring ease of access for students.

“These vending machines are provided to make it easier for students to meet their daily needs. They are now available in almost every faculty,” he said.

The rector also mentioned the “Kantin Bestie” at the Limo Campus, which offers healthy snacks at affordable prices. He affirmed the university’s openness to student feedback regarding both academic and non-academic needs. “If there are suggestions from students, we are ready to accommodate and work toward providing them,” he added.

This visit reflects UPN “Veteran” Jakarta’s commitment to improving the quality of facilities to support student comfort and welfare.

UPNVJ hopes this initiative will help create a campus environment conducive to the holistic development of students’ potential. (www.upnvj.ac.id)
