Enviro News Asia, Jakarta — PT Pertamina (Persero) is strengthening fuel supply and distribution across Indonesia through additional supplies, extended operating hours at fuel stations, and supplementary services to ensure communities have reliable access to energy.
Pertamina President Director Simon Aloysius Mantiri said on October 24, 2026, that the state-owned energy company was implementing three strategic commitments to improve fuel availability and public services nationwide.
“These commitments include increasing supplies, extending operating hours, and providing additional services,” Simon said in a statement issued in Jakarta on Saturday.
The company is also strengthening distribution reliability from fuel terminals to filling stations to help maintain adequate stocks in each region. Under certain conditions, Pertamina will extend operating hours for fuel transport trucks and fuel station personnel to improve service reliability and efficiency.
Additional services will be introduced according to local needs. These measures include deploying modular fuel stations and providing services that allow customers to refuel their vehicles directly at filling stations using fuel supplied in containers.
Simon emphasized that Pertamina’s responsibility was to ensure fuel availability for people throughout Indonesia and to deliver reliable public services.
He also thanked the public for its patience, understanding, support and trust, while expressing appreciation to central and regional governments, the Indonesian Military, the National Police and other parties involved in maintaining smooth energy distribution.
Pertamina said it would continue coordinating with relevant stakeholders to safeguard supply reliability and improve services in response to conditions on the ground. (*)
