Enviro News Asia, Jakarta — Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) collaborated with IBM and Hacktiv8 to conduct an International Training and Certification program focused on Code Generation and Data Classification.
The three-day intensive training, which took place from August 25 to 27, 2025, at the UPNVJ campus, attracted dozens of students from various faculties and disciplines.
The program focused on enhancing students’ understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) using IBM Granite models and Watsonx tools.
Professional instructors from Hacktiv8, a prominent Indonesian technology training institution, led the sessions.
In addition to theoretical lessons, students worked on collaborative, AI-based projects as part of their evaluation.
Participants who successfully completed the entire program will receive a globally recognized international certificate from IBM.
This initiative aims to equip students with practical knowledge of AI applications in the real world, preparing them for the competitive landscape of the digital era.
Dr. Kusumajanti, Head of the UPNVJ Competency Test Service Unit, stated that the collaboration is a strategic move to support the university’s vision of producing competent and adaptive graduates.
“This partnership with IBM and Hacktiv8 reinforces our commitment to developing a generation capable of meeting global challenges through mastery of cutting-edge technology,” she said.
The program is expected to boost the competitiveness of UPNVJ students in the job market and promote their ethical and innovative contributions to technological development.
