Enviro News Asia, Jakarta – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) organized a socialization session on faculty data synchronization within the Integrated Resource Information System (SISTER) at the FISIP Auditorium on the Pondok Labu Campus, aimed at improving the validity and accuracy of faculty data across the institution.
FISIP Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Azwar, M.Si., said the activity was designed to equip faculty members with both technical understanding and practical guidance on synchronizing and updating lecturer data within the SISTER platform, reflecting the faculty’s commitment to delivering quality academic services.
Participants received guidance on maintaining accurate records of personal identification data, educational background, academic functional positions, rank and promotion history, and the implementation of the three pillars of higher education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi) recorded in the system. The session was also attended by BKD (Faculty Workload) assessors Dr. Mansur, M.Si., Dr. Drina Instyawati, M.Si., and Dr. Nurmasari Situmeang, M.Si.
Dr. Azwar outlined synchronization procedures, highlighted common issues encountered in the process, and explained technical solutions available to faculty members, with participants given time to raise questions about challenges they have experienced on the platform.
Accurate and current data are considered essential for supporting human resource development policies including performance evaluations, academic promotion applications, and professional certification processes. The socialization is expected to make data updating more effective, supporting more accurate, data-driven policymaking across the institution. (www.upnvj.ac.id)
