Indonesia officially launched “Diplomasi Bumi: Cerita di Balik Indonesia’s FOLU Net Sink 2030,” a book documenting the country’s journey in protecting tropical forests while advancing sustainable development and international climate diplomacy.
The book explores the partnership between Indonesia and Norway under the Results-Based Payment mechanism, where financial support is provided after verified reductions in greenhouse gas emissions from the forestry and land-use sector. It also showcases a model of international cooperation based on transparency, mutual respect, measurable outcomes, and independent verification.
