Enviro News Asia, Bogor – Prabowo Subianto convened a strategic meeting with several ministers of the Red and White Cabinet at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Monday to discuss key national priorities and ensure the government’s readiness ahead of the upcoming Eid al-Fitr.
Teddy Indra Wijaya, Cabinet Secretary, stated in a written statement that the meeting served as a coordination forum for the government to review priority programs and preparations for the holiday period.
The discussion focused on two major agendas. The first was an evaluation of progress in the national self-sufficiency programs, which remain a central priority of President Prabowo’s administration.
According to the Cabinet Secretary, the meeting reviewed developments in programs aimed at achieving food self-sufficiency, energy self-sufficiency, and oil production resilience.
In addition, the government assessed the readiness of essential supplies for the public ahead of Eid al-Fitr, particularly the availability of staple food commodities and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to ensure stable distribution during the holiday season.
The meeting was attended by several senior government officials, including Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, Agriculture Minister Amran Sulaiman, and Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Minister Sakti Wahyu Trenggono.
Also present were Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Minister/Head of the National Land Agency Nusron Wahid, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Agus Subiyanto, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
The meeting reflected the government’s effort to strengthen coordination among ministries to ensure that strategic national programs continue to progress while maintaining stability in the supply of essential goods for the public during the Eid holiday period. (*)
