Scoring 97.75, UPNVJ Ranks Among the Top 10 Most Informative State Universities

Enviro News Asia, Jakarta — The commitment of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) to building transparent and accountable university governance has once again earned national recognition. At the 2025 Public Information Disclosure Awards organized by Indonesia’s Central Information Commission (KIP RI), UPNVJ achieved a score of 97.75, securing 8th place among informative public bodies in the state university sector.

The award was announced at an official ceremony held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the Birawa Assembly Hall, Hotel Bidakara, Jakarta. UPNVJ Rector Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm, was present in person to receive the accolade, representing the institution’s commitment to public information transparency.

This achievement carries strategic significance. Throughout 2025, the Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of Public Information Disclosure involved 387 public bodies from various sectors, including ministries, state institutions, regional governments, state-owned enterprises, and universities. Of the 149 state universities evaluated, only 54 were awarded the Informative designation. Among this select group, UPNVJ emerged as one of the universities with the strongest performance in information transparency at the national level.

The Rector emphasized that public information disclosure is not merely an administrative obligation, but an integral part of implementing good university governance, which UPNVJ continues to strengthen on a sustainable basis. Transparency, he noted, is a key foundation for maintaining accountability as well as public trust in university management.

“Being an informative institution is a direct consequence of our commitment to good university governance. Information disclosure is not only about meeting standards, but a value we apply across all services and aspects of university management,” said Prof. Venus.

UPNVJ’s inclusion in the top 10 most informative public bodies further underscores the position of this state-defense-oriented campus as a transparent, responsive, and accountable higher education institution. The achievement also reinforces public confidence in UPNVJ as a university that upholds the principles of information openness amid growing demands for transparent governance. (www.upnvj.ac.id)
