Enviro News Asia, Jakarta — Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta officially opened registration for the 2026 Independent Admission Selection (SEMA UPNVJ) for prospective students applying to Diploma Three and Undergraduate programs.
Online registration began on May 25, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. WIB through the university’s admission portal. The selection pathway provides an opportunity for prospective students who wish to continue their higher education at UPNVJ and meet the established admission requirements.
The university stated that the independent admission pathway is designed to provide broader access for prospective students to become part of the “State Defense Campus” community while encouraging academic excellence, achievement, and leadership potential.
For the 2026 intake, UPNVJ offers two admission tracks: the Academic Track and the Achievement Track.
The Academic Track uses applicants’ 2026 UTBK-SNBT examination scores combined with results from the State Defense Literacy Test as the basis for selection. Meanwhile, the Achievement Track combines academic assessment criteria with additional academic and non-academic achievements.
According to UPNVJ, the dual-track system is intended to accommodate applicants with diverse competencies and educational backgrounds.
The university announced that online registration for SEMA UPNVJ 2026 will remain open from May 25, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. WIB until June 4, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. WIB. Payment for registration forms can be completed until June 4, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. WIB, while completion of registration stages is open until June 4, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. WIB.
Participants may print registration cards starting May 25, 2026, while examination cards for the State Defense Literacy Test will become available on June 12, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. WIB. Information regarding skills examinations for Achievement Track participants will also be announced on the same day.
UPNVJ has scheduled a trial session for the State Defense Literacy Test on June 17, 2026, from 10:00–11:00 a.m. WIB. The official State Defense Literacy Test is scheduled for June 25, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. WIB, while skills examinations for relevant participants will take place on June 27, 2026.
The results of SEMA UPNVJ 2026 are scheduled to be announced on July 6, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. WIB. Successful applicants must complete the re-registration process between July 7 and July 10, 2026.

The university also encouraged applicants to carefully review official information, prepare all required documents, and follow the registration schedule to ensure a smooth application process.
