Enviro News Asia, Jakarta — The UFO Student Activity Unit (Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa/UKM UFO) of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) successfully held its 12th Student Cohort Exhibition titled “Nemesis” from 22–27 September 2025 at Selasar Plaza Wardiman, UPNVJ Campus.
The exhibition showcased works in photography, videography, and graphic design, while also serving as a space for reflection on how life’s challenges can be transformed into sources of strength.
Spanning six days, the event targeted 1,300 visitors and featured a series of programs, including the opening ceremony, the premiere screening of a short film produced by the 12th cohort, and the awarding of the best works.
Enthusiasm was evident during the film screening on 23 September, which drew 150 viewers, as well as at the award ceremony on 26 September.
UPNVJ Rector, Prof. Anter Venus, attended the exhibition on Friday, 26 September, to personally commend the students. “This exhibition provides a platform for students to be more productive and creative, while also strengthening UPNVJ’s visibility at both regional and national levels,” he said. He further emphasized that Nemesis teaches visitors to perceive challenges as drivers of courage and personal transformation.
With artworks reflecting the struggle of overcoming life’s obstacles, UKM UFO reaffirmed its role as a hub of student creativity in the visual arts at UPNVJ. Through Nemesis, students aim to inspire the public not to fear challenges but to embrace them as steps toward new awareness. (*)
