Turkey Launches Double IPARD Boost for Farmers and Rural Entrepreneurs

Enviro News Asia, Ankara – Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı has announced two simultaneous developments under the IPARD III Program administered by the Agricultural and Rural Development Support Institution, with the results of the 10th Application Call announced and the 12th Application Call launched on the same day.

Yumaklı said the government continues to add value to the efforts of producers across areas ranging from modernization and capacity expansion to food processing and technological transformation. “We are sharing two important developments under the IPARD III Program at the same time,” he said.

Under the 10th Application Call, 240 projects covering investments in meat, dairy, aquaculture, fruit and vegetable processing facilities, and cold storage have completed the evaluation process and will receive a total of 2.9 billion Turkish lira in grant support. “When these facilities become operational, we will have brought a total investment of 5.8 billion lira into our economy,” Yumaklı said.

The 12th Application Call, covering investments in dairy, red meat, poultry, and egg production, has been launched with a budget of 30 million euros.

“May this bring goodness and abundance to all our entrepreneurs, producers, and our country,” the Minister concluded. (*)
