Enviro News Asia, Jakarta — Deputy Minister of Trade, Dyah Roro Esti, was a speaker at the Global Hydrogen Ecosystem Summit and Exhibition 2025, carrying the theme “Women & H2 Drive The Future,” held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta, on Thursday (April 17).
Deputy Minister Roro stated that Indonesia could leverage hydrogen to become an important commodity. Hydrogen can serve as a clean and flexible energy source with the potential to strengthen national energy security while also opening up new opportunities in international trade.
She further noted that Indonesia has several strategic potentials in the hydrogen sector, along with unique advantages not possessed by other countries. Indonesia also has the opportunity to become a key partner in supplying clean energy through hydrogen.
On this occasion, the Deputy Minister, together with the Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection, Arifah Fauzi, visited and reviewed the exhibition booths at the venue.
The exhibition was held over three days, from April 15 to 17, 2025, featuring discussion forums, business matching sessions, and hydrogen vehicle trials.
