Enviro News Asia, Jakarta — Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia accompanied President Prabowo Subianto on an official visit to Japan aimed at reinforcing bilateral cooperation across strategic sectors, particularly energy, investment, maritime affairs, and digital development.
The visit reflects Indonesia’s proactive diplomatic efforts to strengthen its position in East Asia amid evolving global dynamics. The inclusion of the energy minister underscores the sector’s strategic importance in advancing mutually beneficial partnerships between the two countries.

The presidential agenda in Japan includes a state meeting with Naruhito, as well as bilateral talks with the Japanese government in Tokyo. Also accompanying the President are Foreign Minister Sugiono and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, reflecting a coordinated approach to strengthening Indonesia–Japan relations.
