Enviro News Asia, Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated 31 Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors (LBBP Ambassadors) of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) to friendly countries on Monday, March 24, 2025, at the State Palace in Jakarta.
During the ceremony, the Head of State administered the oath to the newly appointed ambassadors. The inauguration was followed by the signing of the official documents by representatives of the appointed ambassadors.
The 31 newly inaugurated LBBP Ambassadors of Indonesia are as follows:
- Agus Priono, Ambassador to the Republic of Suriname, concurrently accredited to the Cooperative Republic of Guyana;
- Andreano Erwin, Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia, concurrently accredited to Montenegro;
- Ardian Wicaksono, Ambassador to the Republic of Senegal, concurrently accredited to the Republic of Cabo Verde, the Republic of The Gambia, the Republic of Guinea, the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, the Republic of Mali, the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, and the Republic of Sierra Leone;
- Cecep Herawan, Ambassador to the Republic of Korea;

The inauguration ceremony was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Budi Gunawan, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs Pratikno, Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of State Secretariat Prasetyo Hadi, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, as well as the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI).
