UAE Ambassador Visits Hanoi Xanh Cooperative to Halal Market Cooperation

Enviro News Asia, Viet Nam — Bader Almatrooshi led a delegation from the UAE Embassy in Vietnam to visit Hanoi Xanh Cooperative on April 4, 2026, to strengthen international cooperation and explore opportunities in the Halal market.

The delegation included embassy officials, along with Nguyen Quang Khai, representatives from the Arab-Vietnam Promotion Center, and members of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, as well as business partners.

The visit aimed to enhance trade relations and expand access to Muslim-majority markets, a key strategic priority for the cooperative. Hanoi Xanh Cooperative seeks to increase exports of processed agricultural products to the Middle East, particularly to the United Arab Emirates.

During the visit, the delegation toured production and business models in Lien Minh, O Dien, and Dan Phuong communes in Hanoi. The sites included Van Hien Temple, Lan Toan Cau Company, Tan Viet Foods Company, An Lac Farm, and a food processing facility, showcasing high-tech agriculture and diversified production capacity.

Ambassador Bader Almatrooshi expressed appreciation for the visit and highlighted strong demand in the UAE for Halal-certified products. He encouraged deeper collaboration to help Vietnamese agricultural goods meet international standards and enter Middle Eastern markets.

Hanoi Xanh Cooperative is focusing on increasing product value by shifting from raw exports to processed goods. The cooperative is also adopting advanced technologies for processing medicinal herbs and local crops to improve efficiency and sustainability.

Its products currently meet strict international standards, holding certifications such as Halal, GMP, and ISO, enabling access to global markets with high regulatory requirements.

The visit is expected to open new avenues for trade cooperation and support the expansion of Vietnamese agricultural products into the growing global Halal market. (*)
